We also import equipment and ancillaries for mass production of jewellery, from internationally well-known manufacturers like Allgemeine (Germany), Castaldo Products Mfg. Corpn. (USA), Faro (Italy), Gabriel Benmayor SA (Spain), Hilderbrand & CIE S.A.(Switzerland), Mario de Maio (Italy), Memco International FSC. Inc.(USA), R&R Dentsply (USA), Sisma S.p.a. Director, Mr. Nariman H. Wadia, has been associated with the gem and jewellery industry for 40 years and is also a consultant for jewellery manufacturing processes. Mr. Wadia studied jewellery design at the London County Council Central School of Art and is the only Indian to be elected a member of the American Appraisers’ Association. He is a co-convenor for the Product Development Centre (JPDC) and is also on the Research and Development Committee of the GJEPC. He has also been nominated as a member of the Trade Advisory Panel for the Gold Jewellery by the Commissioner of Customs (Airport). His familiarity with the Japanese market as well as his experience in working with Japanese market as well as his experience in working with platinum, a metal with a history of popularity in that country, has also enable him to offer hard-core consultancy to Indian firms dealing with Japan. Nariman H. Director Mr. Mehernosh D. Printer, an accounts graduate, has fifteen years of experience in the jewellery field, which includes all aspects from arranging setups for jewellery manufacturing to providing solutions upto the finished product. He also gives advice for any problems that may arise during the processes and thereafter. Further, having a background of the Accounts stream, Mr. Printer has an advantage when it comes to managing the financial aspects of the business, as also of the Indian import and export trade scenario.
